QEI Security & Technology is currently looking for a sales representative to help residential homeowners select the best security and home technology solutions for their needs. This position includes relationship development, account management and outside sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & maintain relationships with professional referral sources within the business and home building communities
  • Represent QEI Security & Technology at trade shows and events as needed
  • Assist in design of home security and automation systems to meet each individual homeowner’s needs
  • Collaborate with operations and technicians to ensure that all documentation is communicated properly and to customer’s needs
  • Effectively use CRM system for clients and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures
  • Qualify, pursue, and close leads

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales experience but we will train the right individual
  • Security or home technology background a plus
  • Ability to convey technically complex services to clients in an intelligent, yet understandable manner
  • High level of comfort in using computer systems within a sales environment (Microsoft Outlook, Excel required), previous experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • High aptitude for learning new concepts quickly
  • Ability to generate leads via prospecting and networking
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel

Security & AV Technician – Greenville & Charleston, S.C.

QEI Security & Technology is seeking a qualified security technician to join our team. This position comes with guaranteed full-time hours, competitive pay with possible performance bonuses and career growth and management opportunities.

We are looking for a customer-service oriented problem solver who can install and service residential security systems, related home technology and AV systems. The position will be a mix of installation and service calls where the successful candidate uses his/her expertise to solve the customer’s problem and ensure satisfaction. On installation calls, we’re looking for someone who can assist with system configuration as well as efficiently and accurately installing a system. Service calls require troubleshooting with the ability to repair or replace faulty equipment. Knowledge of AV, home automation, control systems and low-voltage wiring is a plus.

Required Experience:
1-3 Years Experience
Knowledge of 2GIG, Honeywell/Ademco and/or DSC Systems
Must have personal tools for the trade
Must have a valid driver’s license, 3-year clear driving record and pass a criminal background check

Office Manager – Charleston, S.C.

QEI Security & Technology is currently looking for an office manager to oversee the all security processes and contracts. This position will eventually manage security office staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and handle all aspects of the security system installation process from the time a sale is approved through installation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure all data is correct in installation files and in the company’s computer software.
  • Work with office staff, sales staff and operations staff to ensure processes make sense and are followed.
  • Serve as the liaison between QEI Security & Technology and our central monitoring station
  • Answer general phone inquiries with professionalism, a positive attitude and the ability to help the caller without transferring to another person.
  • Handle all security billing including monthly/quarterly/annual invoicing, changes to bills/billing accounts and review of security account bills.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of office management experience
  • Security or home technology background a plus
  • High level of comfort in using computer systems (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and QuickBooks are required), previous experience with CRM systems is a plus

Low Voltage Technician – Columbia & Bluffton, S.C.

QEI Security & Technology is seeking a low-voltage wiring technician to join our team. This position comes with guaranteed full-time hours, competitive pay with possible performance bonuses, plus career growth opportunities.

Looking for an experienced integrator/technician for installations including rough-ins and trim-outs both in new residential construction and some retro-fitting of existing homes. The Integrator/technician must be able to meet the physical demands of the work sites and complete installation, service work and troubleshooting issues related to phone, data, TV and audio/video applications. On installations, this person will need to be able to read floor plans and provide quality installations, while maintaining safety standards and working efficiently as part of a team.

Required Experience:
1 Year Experience in low-voltage/voice/data/construction field
